What does this mean for my headend?
There are big changes on the horizon as the industry gets ready for 5G. Let’s make sure we’re all on the same page and that we’ve identified all the technical details:
- The FCC C-band Order requires that SES and the other satellite operators provide their associated earth station operators with a “turnkey solution.”
- Furthermore, the satellite operators must provide the same video service quality during and after the transition as a result of technology upgrades.
