CVP–Braze Integration: Enabling greater flexibility for PureFlix to manage their email templates, campaigns, and customer outreach 

Problem Statement: Pure Flix previously used CVP’s built-in email template feature for any of their commerce/purchase events, which supported only basic email template. Any changes to email templates or marketing campaigns required support from the CVP PS team, leading to delays and limiting how quickly Pure Flix could make updates.

Objective: CTS to implement an integration between CVP and Braze, to improve flexibility, reduce dependencies, and enable Pure Flix to manage their email templates, campaigns, and customer outreach directly in Braze

Solution:

PS team designed and delivered an event-driven integration between CVP and Braze.

Through this integration:

  • CVP sends key commerce events such as purchases, renewals, cancellations, etc, together with essential metadata to Braze.
  • Braze automatically triggers personalized and targeted emails to customers based on these events.
  • PureFlix now has full control over content design, targeting, and automation within Braze.

Outcome:

  • Faster turnaround: Pure Flix can now update campaigns and templates instantly without PS involvement.
  • Improved engagement: Real-time, personalized communication will enhanced customer interactions and retention.
  • Reduced PS/engineering effort: Email workflows can be managed and extended without custom development in CVP.
  • Reusable model: The solution can be replicated for other CVP customers seeking similar flexibility.
