MLB Local Media Continues To Innovate as Production Roster Grows to 14 Clubs

No sector of the sports-media-rights landscape has seen more systemic change over the past three years than Major League Baseball’s regional broadcasters. After starting out midway through the 2023 season by taking over broadcast production and distribution for the San Diego Padres, MLB Local Media’s production operations have now grown to cover 14 clubs this season. Although onboarding broadcast ops for nearly half the league’s teams has been no small feat, it’s a lift that MLB Local Media was more than ready to take on, thanks to years of planning and preparation.
